Shaban's story

My name is Shaban Dawas. I am 31 years old and live in northern Gaza with my wife and our two children: Khaled, 4, and Khetam, 5.

Our home was destroyed during the war. We have been displaced and now live in a worn-out tent that does not provide the protection a family needs. Every day, finding enough drinking water and food is a struggle.

I was injured in my chest during the war, and my injury has made me unable to work. I have included a medical report documenting my treatment. As a father, it is painful not to be able to provide a safe home and basic necessities for my children.

We are asking for help with shelter, food, clean water, clothing and medical needs. Any support, or even sharing our story, can make a meaningful difference to our family.
